Steven Geng

Steven Geng is an Associate Director at Sanofi, bringing extensive experience in drug product development, formulation science, and pharmaceutical development. In his current role, he contributes to the advancement of drug product strategies and development programmes within a global biopharmaceutical environment.

Prior to joining Sanofi, Steven spent more than four years at Amgen, progressing from Principal Scientist to Senior Principal Scientist. During this time, he served as Drug Product Team Lead for multiple programmes, working cross-functionally to deliver development milestones and programme objectives. He also served as a business process owner and subject matter expert for commercial formulation development.

Earlier in his career, Steven was a Research Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company within the formulation group at the Cambridge Innovation Center. His work focused on developing fundamental understanding of critical aspects of drug development, including high-concentration formulations, large-volume delivery, and RNA formulation.

With a background spanning formulation development, drug product development, and emerging delivery technologies, Steven brings valuable expertise in translating scientific and formulation challenges into robust development strategies and scalable drug product solutions.
