Mr. Rongen is a serial entrepreneur and biopharmaceutical executive with expertise in R&D, commercialization, and business development. He founded Matinas BioPharma, advancing its lipid nanocrystal drug delivery platform to a public listing on the NYSE, and played key roles in the development and commercialization of blockbuster therapies including Humira® and Lovaza®. Previously, he held leadership positions at Trygg Pharma, Reliant Pharmaceuticals, and BASF Pharma, driving portfolio strategy, licensing, and product launches. Mr. Rongen holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Wageningen University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
